I don't intend to read Spare, either. I had my fill of the both of them about 1/4 through the Oprah interview. For two people who feel their privacy is violated, they sure enjoy being in the limelight dishing dirt.

Pam - "best before" date - LOL.

.
I don't really know anything about Prince Harry and know even less about his wife but I do think there's a difference between giving interviews and what he was complaining about in his book - the unrelenting harassment and stalking of the paparazzi (which he blames his mother's death on, of course).

Just started reading Befriending Your Body, which I don't think is going to work for me since it involves a lot of mindfulness and yoga.

I forgot to list my non-fiction read: Being In Balance: 9 Principles for Creating Habits to Match Your Desires by Wayne Dyer. I felt like this book was written for me. I'm going to read it again, and again, and again.

I’m listening the audiobook version of The Mists Of Avalon: Book 1, The Mistress of Magic. It’s an oldie from 1983. I’m really enjoying it & the narrator is awesome. I look forward to the reading the others in the series.

I'm reading Good for a Girl: A Woman Running in a Man's World. It's very good so far.

I'm reading a George Harrison biography. What a conflicted person he was.

Pam - I read that back in the 80s, probably not long after it was released. I remember enjoying it. Reading your post and seeing that book named was a "blast from the past" moment for me.

I read the Mists of Avalon back when it was published. I enjoyed it, but I remember being annoyed that some of the family relationships were different than in Le Morte de Arthur. You know, like if someone was an aunt or a sister.

I haven’t read Le Morte d’Arthur so didn’t know that there are inconsistencies. I just enjoyed the beautiful descriptive writing, the character development, and the excellent narration.

I finished The Secret History and it ended better than I was afraid it would. The Gen Z crowd is loving this book, which doesn't bode well for our future.
