I'm reading Her Country by Marissa Moss, a new book about how the country music industry holds back female artists, especially women of color. Even though I'm not really a fan of country music and don't know a whole lot about it, the book is very interesting so far and I've discovered some wonderful artists.

I’m reading Husbands and Other Sharp Objects and enjoying it very much. I was in the mood for something a little lighter and it’s perfect.

I just finished after the end by Clare Mackintosh. Anyone who likes Jodi Picoult should add this one to their reading list.

Thank you! I think I read something else by Clare. The name sounds familiar.

I went to a used library book sale today that had $1 books; I got Very Valentine based on recommendations here. I also got novels by Elizabeth Berg, Nick Hornby Anne Tyler, and the author of Olive Kitteridge.

I’ve been in a reading rut lately but finally finished a book—Kristin Hannah’s The Four Winds. I’m hit or miss with her but found the story engaging even though it was depressing.

I just started After the End by Clare Mackintosh thanks to the recommendation here.
