Leslie Sansone, any upcoming workouts?

What's the last walk Leslie did with the old crew? You know - Joanne and Mary Kay and Linda and Carol and all of them. I miss them! *snifflesniff* I'm looking back at this old thread of fave walkers and getting very nostalgic.

I would LOVE to see a new walk with the old crew! The newer younger bunch are fine but the old group were straight out of her original gym - or so it seemed to me Like real friends of Leslie.

We all miss them.

I think the last time they were all in a video together was in 2009. The last workout Carol appeared in was Power Walk with Friends. The last time we saw Joanne was in 3 Mile Walk & Firm! Even though it was filmed live in the PA studio, it was only released on DVD a year or two ago. I'm not sure which workouts were the last ones for Mary Kay and Linda.

I don't mind some of the new people, but I'm sick of seeing Nick and Marvin in almost every new workout.

I just emailed and got a reply that they are working on new videos, but no time frame and no details.

I've not warmed up to Leslie's new group. There doesn't seem to be much variety in the walkers - they're all very young and get really dancy with the steps and I chug along and am annoyed at their youthful energy the whole way.

"You there! Stop that dancing! Young pups... look ridiculous... don't know how to walk! ... GET OUTA MY YARD!"

LOL, when my mom was walking with me, she got really frustrated that their warm up and cool down "enthusiasm" was more hyper than she ever got during the workout. She fussed at them all the time. I miss that now. (She is still around and walking as she can, but is in assisted living)

I would LOVE an outdoor workout!! And I so miss Carol and her sweet smile!
i have never seen one of her outdoor walk concerts, but I wonder how it would go if she filmed one of those?

I did some of Leslie's mix match walk blasters Monday & decided to imitate Nick--you know how he swings his arms across his body a certain way? Ig was surprised to find it gave me a spring to my step, allowing my knees to come up higher.

It's good to know Leslie is working on new videos. I'm glad she hasn't abandoned her DVD fans.

Not 100% sure, but I think they last appeared on The Big Burn, also around 2009?

Well, now I've got several new Leslie's in my WANT list. Had I known it would be the last time I'd see my friends =( I would have bought them long ago. I'm shocked they haven't been in any for that long! Wonder why they did it as such an abrupt out-with-the-old-in-with-the-new, rather than letting a more gradual change happen over time. Anyone know? (Has this been discussed to death?)
