Ugi?

Has anyone heard of Ugi Fit? I seems to be a bit of a cross between a stability ball and a medicine ball. Let me know if you know anything about it.

I have one , use to have two different weights but traded because I only need one,lol . It's great and very versatile. They have the original box set that came with one DVD w/3 30 min w/o's and the 2nd set which came with 3-4 15min w/o's and a few 30 min full body workouts as well. You also can just buy the balls indivindually. They can be purchased from their direct site, Amazon.com. BodyRockTv uses them also in their workouts on You Tube.
I am glad I have an Ugi :-)

I keep thinking about getting one of these Ugi balls. Does anyone have any recommendation for a particular size? I cannot decide between the 6 or 8 pound ball. I just don't want to get one that is either too easy or too hard. Did anyone get the lighter 6 pounder and feel like it is too light?

I think it depends on how fit you feel you are. 6 pounds is heavy. It's not easy keeping up with what they are doing on the DVD but then I shouldn't have expected I could. It's a beautiful ball.

do you have any medicine balls around. If not go to Dicks or Modells and get a feel for the weight. Lift it over your head. but remember, the UGI is much bigger then a medicine ball and therefore the weight distribution is going to be different because your arms are holding a larger object.

They recommend 6 to 8lbs. for the average woman.

I have three Ugi balls; 8 lbs., 10 lbs, and 12 lbs. I rarely use my 8 lb. Ugi. I use my 10 lb and 12 lb Ugi balls all the time. They definitely have been worth every penny that I paid.

I have the 12lb one and previously had the 10lb. I think it depends on what you are primarily using it for because heavier or lighter doesn't always equate to better. I think the 10lb is a nice general weight
