Lightbulb Rip:60 has a soft adjustable kettlebell 2-20 lbs for $50

I'm intrigued! Rip:60 sells a soft adjustable kettlebell for $49.99. It costs only $5 to ship it.

It has a rope handle & sandbag discs that weigh 3 or 6 lbs.

At least it wouldn't be painful to rack this kettlebell.

Anyone try this? What's the downside?

I believe there's a RIP0065 coupon for free shipping, I might get that when/if I order Rip: 60 system since it calls for a kettlebell later in the program...it may be a pain (shipping wise) if you had to return it though

the first negative that came to mind before even clicking to the page is the same issue i have with my all in one weights: adjusting quickly for some workouts!

there are several workouts that i use multiple pounds... ok... i think almost all real KB workouts i use multiples cuz i swing one weight, press another, etc... and changing quickly to keep up with the workout would not work (if i use more than one i stage the 2nd bell so i can just pick it up only missing a beal if i need to change within a set during something like AOS or lauren where there are several exercises before a break)

for me this would only be usable for somthing like katami's burn and build where i use my baby bell or brook benton where i use the same weight all the way through since i'm doing it as a cardio anyways...

AND... it only goes up to 20 pounds.... i was swinging more than that from the get go....

ok.... looking briefly at the site... that "soft grip" handle is going to rip up... you aren't supposed to hold onto to a bell.. it's supposed to move in your hands... that soft grip... i'm assuming foam? is going to breakdown/rip!
