Christi's tapes are the only

tapes that I usually let play from the beginning, cause I love seeing the VFers and the oops.

Yoga for Weight Loss is actually one of the only yoga tapes that I've really liked. Like Clare, a lot of the unnecessary talking in any of my tapes become, blah blah. It's kinda like that commercial where the dad is having this serious talk with his son about investments, the son is smiling and nodding his head and all the while all he is hearing is, "blah, blah, blah."

Just wanted to quote myself to make it clear that despite being put off by Suzanne's introduction, I sure do like this tape! (didn't want that observation to get lost in the shuffle!)

Well Susan,

If you can respond to yourself I don't see why you can't quote yourself. What do we call that -- doing a Susan P. to a Susan P.?

Talking

Susan, your comments are hilarious! I, too never understood what she says has to do with losing weight. I was thinking about doing this tape today, but I got another licking from Jane Fonda last night -- one of her step tapes of all things! LOL! Oh well, today's a rest day

I definately need to incorporate more stretching and yoga into my workout. How does anyone do it ALL? Yoga or Pilates AND strength AND cardio???? Perhaps one day we'll have a tape that combines them all!

Well, I just bought Kathy Smith's Moving Through Menopause DVD and it does have it all. About twenty minutes of cardio, weights, and yoga each. And the DVD has a bonus 15 minute Pilates workout. This workout has it all, but it is beginner/intermediate level (well, except for the yoga shoulder stand which looked advanced to me!)

I'll check this one out. I think there are copies at Half.com.

I'm really bummed by the whole idea of being 40 and reaching menopause, soon. Seems like yesterday I was 25.
