But I wonder if women actually wore thong leotards back in the 80s for the most part? (other than some fitness instructors like Tamilee Webb and others). If any VFers owned thong leotards back then they might not admit to it now!***

As a former fitness trainer and aerobic instructor during the 80s, I have no problems saying I work thong leotards back then. Of course, we wore leotard leggings with it. I also wore a unitard with a thong bottom over it. It was what was in style back then. Also, I had a smokin' hot body in my 20's!

I wore thong leotards over leggings also! We did demos in the malls back in the 80's. Fun times....

I never wore thong leotards, but I did wear leotards. With coordinating leg warmers and headbands and shiny tights. I liked the cheerful, colorful and feminine workout outfits from the 80's.
