I'm going through all the Harry Potter films. They never get old!

I didn't read the books, so I can't get bent out of shape that they don't live up to the books.

LOL!!! I can see the appeal of that. I deliberately avoided reading LOTR until the first set of films came out. Just wanted to enjoy the story as presented, without distractions. (Since I'd avoided the books so long already, a few more years wasn't a problem.)

I like the HP movies, but apparently my imagination has created scenes from the book that aren't in the films at all. So distracting.

I've watched the first 3 episodes already. It is starting off slow, but I think it is necessary to find out what he's been up to and where/ with whom he interacts.

I am enjoying it so far.

My DH and kids were out of town this past weekend, so I binged a backlog from the current season of Call the Midwife (they were recorded but I haven’t had time to watch them).

I also watched Black Widow and Shang Chi & the 10 Rings.

Maid

Just finished watching Maid (Netflix) a few days ago. Very well done. Not too over-the-top dramatic, but still very interesting.

I just finished Season 10 of Call the Midwife and I watched the special that looked back over the last 10 years. I assume there will be a holiday special on Christmas night. I always watch that.

Oh wow, I didn’t realize the recap was the end of the season! I wasn’t keeping track of what episode I was on!

I have been self-teaching myself Japanese for years. I enjoy all kinds of Japanese films. There are supposed to be some great J-dramas, too.

I did watch the historical comedy Samurai Cat (2014), which was pretty good.
You have me intrigued with Samurai Cat! I’m checking it out on Prime!
I have a white (deaf) cat. This will be good over the next few days 🐱
