Yay for summer reading!

I went to the library today and picked up Stephen King's Later; I started reading it immediately and like it so far (although I know some here didn't like the ending). I also picked up Meg & Jo and the most recent (I think) Hannah Swenson novel, Coconut Layer Cake (maybe this will be the one that finally makes me swear off the series, LOL). I'm also reading Pat Conroy's memoir-ish My Reading Life.

Today I read Death At Daylesford by Kerry Greenwood, no. 21 in the Phryne Fisher murder mystery series (and the first one since 2014!). A fun read.

I just finished American baby : a mother, a child, and the shadow history of adoption and am starting Yearbook, by Seth Rogan, today. I don't even know who Seth Rogan is, but the book got good reviews so I guess I'll find out soon.

I read this a few weeks ago and loved it! I haven’t found anything that captures my interest since then. I’ve tried at least 5 books since then, but haven’t clicked with anything and it’s driving me nuts.

I don't have a lot on my to-read list right now. After I finish Elizabeth Is Missing, I'm going to read the three books that follow Stones from the River. And I'm looking forward to the last book in the Practical Magic series by Alice Hoffman that is coming out in October.

I have found myself binge reading/listening instead of watching tv lately.
I am currently re-reading/reading the Maisie Dobbs books from #1.
I had read a few back awhile and since it's been so long...I decided to read them in order one after another. It's been lots of fun. And each is very good.
Just finished #9 Elegy for Eddie and moving on.
