new Caroline Girvan series - week long

Hello everyone

Caroline Girvan usually has very long series - the Epics are 50 days, but she is on her 2nd shorter week long series. Last week was Complexes, this week - Unilateral :

Looks good, as is the case with all her stuff :-)

Janice - think you've put 50 WEEKS erroneously, the EPICs are 50 DAYS aren't they? Not annoyed at all - just for those pondering them, a rotation that takes almost a whole year is a tad off-putting.

I'm contemplating downloading & burning the EPICs. They are destined to become classics! Haven't even begun to attempt them.... yet.

Hi Helen - thanks for pointing out that error!
Have corrected - 50 days!

Yes, Caroline has amazing content - on par with what established instructors put out - amazing that it is free!!

I would like to do that but wouldn't know where to start. And there are so many of them! I only do her strength workouts, but that would still be a lot.

I love her. I didn't get too far with the pre-EPIC series a while back, but they were extremely high quality and I can't believe she makes them available for free. I sort of dug the method of simply following along without chatty instruction in the workout itself, and the timer is great. I wish her music was better, but I realize it's probably under a creative commons license.

I really like what I've done of hers, also. I found them to be pretty well balanced and different than what I normally do (Cathe). Fairly easily modifiable where necessary, too, as I recall. Don't get scared off if you preview -- jump in and try it!

I have never done her workouts, but I have to say they look great!

Thanks for posting Janice, this lunges galore looks killer, I bookmarked it.

I've been doing Caroline's EPIC workouts, mixed in with others, since last October. I just turned 55 and I'm in the best shape of my life. :-)

I modify like crazy but I love her workouts.

I really like the look of the complexes workouts. My tiny brain likes only two exercises per complex! When there are 4+ exercises, I get confused and it just feels stressful. I like following along and if I get behind, I lose my place!

I just found this guy on You Tube. He has some great content. I like going heavier with the 40/20 or 45/15 timer. His workouts are also standard moves (nothing fancy that will aggravate my knee).

He looks great! Thanks for sharing. Lots of content to sort through. I saw that he does have bodyweight only workouts, too.
