Older tech devices idea - on topic
Older tablets:
After visiting the Samsung site to see whether there was any possibility of either a trade-in allowance or even recycling for 2013-2014 Galaxy tablets, I decided to keep the devices. They still work, albeit slowly, and can store photos, videos, and music. I figured this would be a good way to keep digital files such as workouts. Samsung takes trade-ins within a certain vintage year and mine were outside of that range.
Hard Drives:
I went through a similar exercise when deciding what to do with the hard drives of old computers and laptops. I ended up buying enclosures for said hard drives.
Images/photos:
what with people digitizing paper receipts, statements, etc, after a while, you have to devise a system of what you want to keep similar to dealing with hard copies of paper statements. Old tablets might also be a good place to store it if you're uncomfortable saving it in the cloud.
Videos:
I can count the number of video downloads that I own on one hand. However, other VFers who own many probably have some system of archiving them for accessibility later. Maybe some of you could chime in about how you manage "physical" downloads that you own.
