Ah, good topic, and one I'm very familiar with. If we leave out the songs that are more suitable for walking and stick with the jogging/running ones, this is what's on my MP3 player (or at least on one of the spare SD cards). I'll probably look like a nut for having some of the tastes that I do.

Love Is a Battlefield-Pat Benatar
Heartbreaker-Pat Benatar
Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy-Bette Midler
Sin Wagon-Dixie Chicks

Dancing in the Dark-Bruce Springsteen
Crocodile Rock-Elton John
Jailhouse Rock-Elvis Presley
You Can’t Hurry Love-Diana Ross & the Supremes
Let ‘Er Rip-Dixie Chicks
Ain’t Goin’ Down (Til the Sun Comes Up)-Garth Brooks
Heat Wave-Martha Reeves & the Vandellas
Holding Out for a Hero-Bonnie Tyler
Hound Dog-Elvis Presley
Knock On Wood-Amii Stewart
Oh Boy-Buddy Holly
Proud Mary-Ike & Tina Turner (fast section only--the wonders of audio editing)
River Deep, Mountain High-Ike & Tina Turner
This Old Heart of Mine-Isley Brothers
Except for Monday-Lorrie Morgan
Mambo No. 5-Lou Bega
The Boys of Summer-Don Henley
Hit the Road Jack-Ray Charles
One Way or Another-Blondie
I’m So Excited-Pointer Sisters

Walking On Sunshine-Katrina & the Waves
We Go Together-Grease

I need some new songs for running; I'm kind of tired of most of what's on my iPod. Here are a few I still like, weird mix, some old, some newish, some cheesy.

Another Travelin' Song - Bright Eyes
Audio delite at low fidelity - Black Eyed Peas
Baby Got Going - Liz Phair
Benzi Box - Dangerdoom
Beverly Hills - Weezer
Crazy - Gnarls Barkley
Crazy - Alanis Morissette
Gangster Tripping - Fatboy Slim

Juicy - Better Than Ezra
My Doorbell - White Stripes
Perfect Way - Scritti Pollitti
Promiscuous Girl - Nelly Furtado
Suddenly I See - KT Tunstall
We Don't Stop - Michael Franti

I need more.

I run to Wipeout also!
Also losts of the Beachboys like: I get around

Great songs listed so far, I have some major downloading to do. Running/Walking collections are easy for me to come up with but music combinations for box or step are tougher for me to do.

Probably the most embarrassing songs on my MP3 player for anyone else to find out about would be "Sunshine Day" and "Keep On" by the Brady Brunch kids. I'd NEVER admit to having those! Whoops, guess I just did...
