I don’t really find it creepier than ads for bladder control or feminine hygiene products, which I definitely don’t want to be contemplating while I’m eating, or ads for various medications (Gotta Go Gotta Go Gotta Go Right Now OMG SHUT UP!!!) but I also don’t find it amusing. I srsly did not know separation was a problem for guys - hubby has never once mentioned it LOL. My mom worked in advertising long long ago and even back then she said that the goal of ads was not to be lovely or tasteful but to be memorable, and the most obnoxious ads sell the most products cuz they grab your attention and people start talking about the ad, mentioning the product a lot.

ever since i clicked on that link, I've been getting different men's underwear ads on my feeds.

ikwym!! i was surprised to see a close-up of a woman's inner thigh being shaved with the close-up taking up the entire screen - on TV. and with a large TV screen and my family watching, it was awkward.

I have never seen this one before and we primarily watch sports (i.e. "male oriented" commercials) so I'm surprised by that. I also think it's kind of funny and far, far, FAR less offensive to me than the Boll and Branch "we are saving the planet with our overpriced sheets" or the Roman guy telling his significant other that his inability to perform doesn't mean he doesn't love her. Where is Mr Rolleyes when you need him?

If you ignore the delivery and the visual, the language is very similar to old bra ads (Playtex cross your heart: "lift and separate", "forget I'm wearing").

Maybe because if this, I am in the group that found it funny (as a spoof). But only in the context of Youtube (watch it only if you want to and not repeatedly).

Yes, agreed! That commercial makes me uncomfortable watching TV with my father-in-law!

I think without the very end of the Hanes commercial I would just feel awkward but for me they took it too far.
