Cyana-yay for another Pretenders fan.
Boomtown Rats : I don't like Mondays

Back to the weekend: Elton John Saturday Night's All Right for Fighting
Chicago : "Saturday in the Park"
Queen "Lazing on a Sunday Afternoon"

I know the second two are mellow, but I love both songs.....

Gams, my DH is not a country music fan, but I had him listen to 'Remember When' and he was in tears before it ended...great song!!

I have to disagree with Cathe when she comments several times (as if apologizing) about not keeping the beat to the music, how it's not important, etc. I can't see her sometimes if I don't want to strain my neck, and have no idea where they are in the count; I am OCD about equal reps and hate having to count for myself. I love Cathe's Trisets and finally heard the music people were complaining about. Just didn't notice it before although I did notice having problems with her 'beat' or lack thereof. I was constantly either slowing down or speeding up and having to do my own counting.

Donna, I always do my own counting so don't mind it when Cathe is off the beat, at least with her strength work. The only time it really bothers me when they are off the beat is with step aerobics or hi/low. It also doesn't really both me with kickboxing or cardio kickboxing.

Donna - I LOVE "Remember When". It's a beautiful song.

When I play "September" at work, one of the guys refuses to dance with me because he says he's boycotting Earth, Wind & Fire because they exclude water from their name...

Hi all

Well I'm going through a Philly phase in music at the moment. I'm obsessed with First Choice Armed and Dangerous.

Also Sharon Redd is fave, together with Cheryl Lynn 'Shake it up tonight'.

Oh I think I'm off to youtube lol.

Me too. As long as the music is decent, I don't mind at all in a strength workout if the instructor is off beat. Drives me crazy in cardio, though.

Only thing I've found is I have a lot of trouble doing a workout with NO music at all. I brought HoCo Getting Started with me on my current trip out of town, since it requires no equipment and limited space, but it drives me nuts to hear Sandra's voice only, with no music to keep me distracted/entertained.
