I managed to get 10,000 steps yesterday...this score does include Bikram yoga, but it doesn't give many steps because we're basically standing on the mat or laying down. I'm absolutely crazy about the fitbit; thank you for this thread which motivated me to purchase it!

The calorie count for Bikram was very different than the Polar FT4, but I expected that. Calorie counts for treadmill walking and Leslie dvds have been much more accurate, which makes perfect sense, actually.

PS--I should mention that I paid closer attention to my fitbit today during my P57 hour long workout. I actually did clock about 1200 steps in an hour, which was nice. I guess all the pulsing does count for something, step-wise.

Here's something ridiculous--I walked home from the rental car place yesterday. It's just outside our neighborhood and took me about 15 minutes (at a brisk pace, wearing sandals, work clothes, and my laptop in my backpack!) and came in at just over 1000 steps. I thought for sure it'd be more! I actually got something like 4K more steps just around the house in the evening after that.

Stephanie, you wouldn't say that if you'd looked at my step totals from the past few days.
