I'm in.
I'd like to say that I won't buy any DVDs this year, but I know that's not realistic (I already have a few on my wish list) so I'm setting a limit of 12 or less. I figure that allows me one a month. I'm also going to go through my very large collection and get rid of any DVDs that I'm not going to use. ~Sissy B |

I'm going to officially join this year!
Ok, my collection is building up and for the first time, I have virgins. I think if I actually use what I already have, I will be less inclined to buy more! So, I vow to 1) Do all virgins 2) Revisit all workouts I havent done in a while to see if I still need them 3) Trade at least 10 dvds I no longer need at the moment (never traded before-- I'm nervous about it) I know I will cave on any Ellen Barret or Ellen-like workout (KSM "Start Here") but limit the buys to once a month or to every 6 weeks. |

Well, I started my 2012 buying early.
I just "happened" to be over at the TRX site and saw they have a 20% off coupon code, valid until 9.00PM on Christmas Day (Pacific Time). And the Essentials Bundle (Strength, Cardio and Flexibility) has been reduced from $104 to $60. With Helen's wise advice ringing in my ears - "It's not impulse spending if you buy something on sale which you were going to buy anyway" - I ordered all the DVDs on my wish list (the Essentials Bundle, plus TRX Kettlebell: Iron Circuit Power; TRX Performance: Train Like the Pros and TRX: Team Sports). I saved $78 and the international shipping was only $10.00! The TRX kits themselves weren't reduced, so I'll have to wait until my Lifestyle Payment comes through in late January until I can order it.

My goal is to try and only use the Cathe rotations. I have nearly all of the Cathe dvds so by using the rotations it will keep my workouts varied and save me from buying me workouts.
My only buying in 2012 Any Cathe pre-order Any new Turbofire dvds. I'm going to try and keep to this. |

I have a slush fund over at Mary's and Amazon, so I'm hoping I won't spend too much real money in 2012.
I hope to buy NOTHING except for the new rumored Turbo Fires and possibly a few Amy Bentos. No Cathe preorder if/when it comes. No Kellys (much as I like her as a person, I don't reach for her workouts and they are a waste for me). No more bargain $10 dvds I see in the sporting goods department.

I'm in. I will not purchase any workout DVDs in 2012. I did it in 2010 and made it through the year without making one purchase. It was very rewarding and the year flew by.
I am a Vidiot after all, so in preparation for this challenge I have an unopened box from Total Fitness in my workout room. Tracy |
