Best Round Yoga mat

I want to get one of the six foot size yoga mats, what are the best ones out there? By best I mean you don't slip around, cushy and durable. Thanks for your help!

It's not round, but I just got that big square manduka one. Instant

I have this one, it's quite affordable. I love it, have had it for several years and it still looks like new. I use it almost daily for yoga and other barefoot workouts like ballet, Essentrics, and Ellen Barrett.

You are welcome Dana! It's not super thick, but it does the job and has stood up well. I put a regular yoga mat on top for floor work. I like being able to do lots of twists, wide leg forward bends and other poses that require spread out limbs and not have my arms and legs directly on the floor.

more details please

What is the texture like? Slippery when sweaty? Carrying straps and folding directions are show, so are you really able to fold this up on a regular basis without damaging it?

I am currently working with 2 latex topped thin mats from Walmart arranged in a cross. This set up mostly works for me. I am on top of carpet and with crossing them, thinner is better and the traction is SO much better than many higher end mats. Out of necessity, they get rolled up and put away in a small closet after every use. All of the other square or round mats that I have looked at (coveted) haven't seemed to be easy to store and more than one has had a warning not to fold up.

I also have this and it! It kind of makes me sad and claustrophobic if I have to go somewhere and use a normal yoga mat now

samantha-kitty- I have the luxury of a good sized dedicated exercise room so I just fold it over twice and put it against the wall. It could be cumbersome to roll up and stow in a small closet.

Pam, I do the same thing with mine. It seemed like the best way to store it because there is not a flat edge to stand it up on. Then my lab goes and lays on it I thought it was the spot because she would rub back and forth on the wall, then lay down on the rolled up mat. So I moved it to the other side of the room and she moved with it. She really likes my mandala yoga mat, too!
