5-Factor Fitness?

Has anyone read this book? I saw the Five Factor Diet by Harley Pasternak and picked it up, thinking it looked interesting. Then I realized that he originaly published "5-Factor Fitness" so I got that one, too. They have a lot of the same information, and the exercise program is really interesting. Basically, you work out 25 minutes a day:
5 minutes on cardio warmup
5 minutes lower body weights
5 minutes upper body weights
5 minutes core
5 minutes cardio cool down.

You can add more cardio at the end if you like. Harley is the trainer who got Halle Berry into shape for Catwoman...I remember over at the yaya's when that movie came out everyone was talking about how she would only work out 25 minutes a day. He has you doing supersets and he also only gives exercises with free weights, which I think is so refreshing!

So, has anyone read this and tried it? I can't wait to try it. (Dealing with a neck problem right now so I can't start.) I did a search but can't find any other threads about this topic.

I have this book somewhere. IIRC that last cardio bit is not a cooldown but used to burn fat (like interval cardio) and he says that if you have weight to lose you can increase it up to 1/2 hour more for add'l fat burning. He believes that to make this program work you have to work hard by running, jumping rope or other advanced cardio, and I think it also states that Halle Berry lengthened the cardio to get super lean and fit for Catwoman. So FYI to be most effective it's not necessarily 25 minutes.

There is an article in the newest Muscle & Fitness Hers about the legs and glutes and the workout is based on Five Factor Fitness principles... has anyone ever worked out to his basic principles?

phase 1 5 min. cardio warm up
phase 2 5 min. of supersetting two strength exercises
phase 3 5 mins. of two more exercises also supersetted
phase 4 core training
phase 5 30 min. cardio (recommends incline treadmill work in this article)

exercises listed: (focus: "the rear view routine")

phase 2: supersets of walking lunge w/ exercise-ball leg curl
phase 2: supersets of dumbbell step-up with romanian deadlift
phase 4: core cable trunk twist

each exercise is 3 sets of 20 reps each leg

Just curious!
