Esquire/Great Body workouts

These are pretty old workouts, so I don't know if anyone would know this.

But why were some videos re-done using a different instructor?

Most of the vidoes I have are instructed by Marian K., but I do have 1 by Deborah Crocker, who I think originated the series.

The reason I ask this is because I have noticed that some of the workouts with the same title have different pictures on the box. This past weekend at a yard sale I came across a workout title that I already own, but the picture on the box was different. So I bought it. The one I already have was with Deborah Crocker, this new one was a totally different workout with Marian K.

I just think it's strange to use the same exact title, but have a totally different workout. It's almost as if the 1st set was done by Deborah Crocker, then re-done by Marian K. Would would the company do this? Anyone know?

Thanks

This shows the 2 different boxes, same title and 2 totally different workouts.

I had the whole series from Deborah Crocker. I know the series was redone a few years later by that Marian lady. I really liked the first series, hated the second. They are really dated now. :-) Deborah had a great intermmediate series called 'Great Body'. These rocked. I still do them from time to time. :-)

But, I don't understand why they would keep the same titles if they were re-done by someone else.

I like the ones with Marian. I still does those too. I did Figuretics this morning.

If it's low impact, Jane, I'll take it!

I never understood the re-make either. Deborah did a stretch tape which I still love (years ago it was my cure for PMS). Marian did Figuretics. So the two series weren't entirely the same titles.

Actually, there is a guy who does the low impact version on this workout, & I don't think the impact is very high anyway. It is kind of a fun workout, even if it's a little hard to follow, especially with the improved cuing/teaching methods of today. There are a few dated moves, but it's okay. Another good Superbody workout is Superbody Low Impact Aerobics. It is a lot easier to follow, & I don't think the workout itself is dated.

great body

I had several of these vhs workouts and sold them in my garage sale/gave to Goodwill once I started my "Firm obsession". I really liked the 30 minute step workout led by Marian. Its funny how over time, your workouts change. I wish now I wouldn't have disposed of all these. Now I'm trying Cathe workouts, but don't plan on selling off any of the Firms I've aquired, just for this reason.
