Thanks so much, Jackie. This has been on my mind for a few days now. I thought I had a phone number, but no, that number doesn't work. I really wanted these workouts, and was looking so forward to them. This company has the absolute worst customer service. I wish that I had known how bad it is. They don't reply to anything. Now, we're going to contact Pay Pal.

Good luck with this, I hope you get it resolved. The streaming problems, quirky online video purchases and lack of response have been discussed a lot among the Margaret fans.

It's really too bad!

Margaret's website title for downloads is "Download Digital Body Electric DVD's". Then in the description it says "You can download the DVD's to your computer to play anywhere". If you can't do this then they need to tell you how to do it with their site type. If you can't download then you deserve a refund.

You can tell I am not a fan of "access for life" media since the access is only good as long as that person/company maintains that website/storage.

Very frustrating. I wish you luck!!!!

Thank you for that, Carly. I just tried it. No luck downloading. I love the workout. I'll ask for a refund for this one also. I love it, but I want to be able to keep it, since that's what I paid for.

I agree with you about the problem with access for life. I've been wondering about that myself, and now here we go.

I had been curious about Margaret Richard for some time. Finally, around Mother's Day, after having posted here, I decided to try out one of her Digital DVDs to see if I like it. I loved it (Good 'n Strong), and it's still one of my favorites. It was too late to order more, and I really wanted to wait for the next promo. That was the Black Friday sale, and now this. I ordered several. I was too busy to check if all went well. I figured that it must have, since I've never had a problem with other sites before. Really, I was so looking forward to starting a new rotation with all her different workouts. This is so disappointing. We contacted Pay Pal yesterday. I'll see how that goes. Body Electric hasn't replied to anything yet, and I don't expect they will. Their customer service is the absolute worst and I would never recommend them to anyone.

That is just terrible about their customer service - that is the worst "sin" as far as I'm concerned. If something isn't right or doesn't work, I can forgive it as long as the company/person responds either with a solution or an offer for a refund.

That is soooo disappointing about Margaret.

I had thought about joining her streaming for a month or two here and there just for some variety and the ability to access some of the old Body Electric TV shows...but I think I will not risk it.

I hope you get your money back.

Thank you all for understanding and for being helpful and supportive. I hope that I do get a refund.

I've said it earlier, and I'll say it again. If this is how they run their business, they need to call it a day and close down.

Negin, I’m sorry you’ve had such a frustrating experience! I have 2 seasons of Unplugged but I haven’t downloaded all of them. There used to be an obvious link to do that, not sure why they changed it. I hope you get some satisfaction from her CS dept.

Thank you. It's really upsetting. It would be bad enough if I'd bought one DVD, but unfortunately, I got more than a dozen. Haven't heard anything from them yet. We're giving them a week before we request a full refund from PayPal. My husband helped me with all that. He first requested that they contact Body Electric, since after all, I really do want access to the DVDs. So far, nothing. Such rubbish customer service. It's non-existent.

i posted about this in another thread - see below under "EDITED TO ADD."

at some point, i think Margaret's site changed software or procedures and didn't bother updating the description of her digital products. older VF threads attest to purchasing real downloads that can be saved on your device. when i purchased 1 digital item this past year and then discovered i couldn't download it, i asked them and they said it was "lifetime access" which is totally different than being able to download a file. Hello.....they are MUTUALLY EXCLUSIVE by definition!
