Best purchase....headstand bench for $20

Can’t say I have a worst. I did buy a number of downloads this year, but I’ve really narrowed down what works for me.

Is it sad/unusual that I can't even remember what I bought this year? I think the only dvds I remember buying are Misty Tripoli. I need to look through my Amazon account. I don't think I ordered from Mary at all this year, or anywhere else.

I have been ill and under financial constraints* this year, so have bought very little. I subscribed to Cathe Live for a few months which was a huge WIN!

eta: I also ordered Cathe's new step workouts.

* Dental, optical, and prescriptions are not covered by our socialized health care system in Canada. My prescription is also not covered under private insurance (medical cannabis) and is VERY expensive. Doctor's visits, tests and surgeries are 'free', but frequently in such an untimely manner as to be rendered useless.

Sorry for the (controlled) rant. Someone close to me was just diagnosed with stage 1 pancreatic cancer. He paid for his own MRIs or he would not even have a diagnosis for several more weeks. Now he has to wait 1-2 months for surgery. Who knows what stage by that time. But hey-it's 'free'!

I've really enjoyed my Ellen Barrett streaming membership. I also have a basic Barre3 membership....I am trying to decide if I'd upgrade if they offered a Black Friday deal.

Of course, I still love my ETV but sure wish they'd offer new content .

I did buy a Gaia membership last Black Friday...didn't get much use from it. But I wouldn't call it "worst".

I should add that my Black Friday streaming subscription deals to Movement for Modern Life & Gaia are great & I’ve used both a lot. I always love my Essentrics TV subscription too, just wish they’d give a yearly discount like most other sites do. Streaming works out so well for me as I travel a lot.

Best is my current love affair with Cathe Live. I'm pretty fickle, so hopefully it will last.

Worst is probably my purchase of Margaret Richards DVDs. I didn't spend a lot, but there are still one or two of the 4 I purchased that I haven't opened yet. And of course because of my best, listed above, it may be awhile until I do.

Best: This pull-up/dip bar. We bought it before it was available on Amazon so the shipping cost was atrocious, but it was totally worth it.

A close runner-up is BBOD, which I still love after 3 years. Three rounds of LIIFT4, the chance to try out so many other programs, and not having to fool with the DVDs for the programs I already own, make it golden to me.

I don't have a worst. I didn't buy much this year.

Best were the Gaian annual subscription. I’ve used that a shocking amount! I also discovered Callanetics online and love that. Last but not least are my Ballet Beautifuls, especially Backstage on the Mat. I’ve been doing at least a section of that a night.

Worst...oh Margaret. I wish I could get into those 10 DVDs I bought for $59. But not only are they still in the wrapper, they’re still in the MAILER!

Best: streaming subscriptions to Pilates Nest and The Balanced Life.

Don’t have a worst because this was it for me.
