I'll probably get mine on Tuesday too.
should be mix, maybe fix was a typo

Home Gym Interval

Got back on the treadmill today with workout two from HGI! I really like what Kelly has done with the design of this dvd. It is enjoyable and the time flies! It never seems like I'm on the machine for very long at all, and this way I can really up my speed! Very pleased with this workout!

I also tried the Bonus Waistline workout and even had a good time with this one! It's mostly standing ab exercises, some punching/boxing, and some plank stuff. But, a nice variety and not too long spent on any one exercise. Since I workout in the basement and don't have carpet, my hands were a sweaty mess in plank. I quickly grabbed my kettlebell/fingerless gloves!

Now I want even more weight combos with this workout! It would be so easy to do the cardio machine part and even do something like kettlebell swings or whatever dumbbell exercises you like!

Why haven't more instructors thought of this before now?

During the warmup on the treadmill Kelly skips on the TM. I tried this for the first time today and it was kinda fun, too! She does some side laterals as she's facing/standing to the side and holds onto the rails. Just showing some variety, I guess.

Sam does hill climbs on her treadmill. Marcus in on the bike. Lori is on the Elliptical. They are all focused on their machines and Kelly has to ask if they're all smiling. I love the rapport she has with everyone in her workouts. I bet her live classes are great!

I did HGI ...the whole thing this am. Loved, loved it. Got the best workout. I didn't plan on jogging but ending up doing just that due to Kelly's motivation. I was a happy, sweaty mess afterward. It is a keeper!

Hoping to see mine in the mailbox when I get home. Would like to use them in a June rotation.

I'm a little jealous right now about HGI, and as usual starting to regret I didn't buy it even though I don't have any cardio equipment at all!

For those who have done it, about how long are the cardio intervals? I had thought about using my battle ropes for the cardio, but that won't work for me if the intervals are much more than 2 minutes.

I don't have the dvd, but I think it has been said that the cardio intervals are ninety seconds long.

Thanks! That's a perfect length for ropes, well I guess I'll add this one to my list
