very easy to follow. for example, much easier to do compared with "dance off the inches". as compared to Leslie, way more different arm moves and leg moves. music is way better. he does chat a lot, but he chats to the beat!

his add-ons use 2# light weights. i didn't realize how creative you could get with light hand weights to work the abs (yes, the abs), combined with basic foot movements.

at least 90% low impact. he has a couple of hops/jumps, but there's a low-impact modifier always in view.

there are many clips on youtube if you want to check it out.

Oh no, I may have to check out clips. I have never seen dance off the inches either though. If it is easy to follow that sounds fun. I stay away from those types of workouts because I have a hard time following moves with more than a couple steps lol

Hits:
Cathe's XTrain series (upper body weight workouts, cardio leg blast, tabaata, hiit)
Skogg at Home series (surprise hit - not a fan of Michael's first series)
Kickbox Burn (wonderful!)
Fitness Favorites' DVD releases of old BBH Firm VHS workouts like the Core Cardios, NSTAM, etc.

Misses:
The newest Tonique standing workout (too hard; too much dread)
Jessica Smith's walk workout (too easy)
Many KCM's (I enjoyed 2 or 3 of hers but sold the rest.)
Cathe's Muscular Endurance -- love this workout but tore something while doing it and had to rehab for weeks. I miss it and may give it another try.

Disclaimer: There are virgins I still hope to have a better feel for in the remaining weeks of 2013 --Cathe's Flextrain, Greatest Hits Vol. 1 & Party Rockin' Step Vol. 2; Lauren Brooks' Kettlebell Body; and DeGrasse's Fitness is Function Kettlebell series.

Honorable Mentions: RKS was my first rotation ever -- with DH .... Throughout the summer, I attended live Body Pump classes, had fun and got nice results.

HITS:

Jules Benson's Total Core Pilates
Leslie's Ultimate 5 Day Walk Plan (never would have tried Leslie if I hadn't broken my toe...so there is a slim silver lining to my injury!)

MISSES:
Mari Winsor Flat Abs Pilates (yawn)
Winsor Pilates (yawn)
Gilad's Power and Grace

Tapout XT2 - I was able to prove that I can stick to a rotation.
T25 - I am on my 4th week and still going strong.
KBKB - re-ignited my love for kettlebells.
BellyFit set - great while I had them. DH donated them to Goodwill by mistake.
Doonya - great while I had them. Went to Goodwill as well by mistake.

Best app/or gadget:
iPhone 5 - hands down a must-have! I feel naked without it.
Roku 2 XS - I am digitizing my favorite workouts, thanks to Roku 2!
Habit Pro - I can easily get back on track as I want to see check marks or smiley faces.

Map My Run - DH loves this one. I use the Map My Walk.

Misses:
All my Peakfit purchases - one of them hurt my left shoulder and I still suffer for it!

Final thoughts:
I did not buy much this year! I think my Roku helped with.
My main stress-relievers are either dance workouts that make me smile, or anything that make me sweat.
Next year, I plan to add more stretching in.

While I don't like everything that Cathe produces there is just something about her that keeps bringing back into my workout room most nights. Everyone else - absolutely no motivation to repeat

I so wish I could really participate in this thread. Unfortunately, I injured my ankle in February and so have been dealing with that all year. The most I have done is walking with DH in the evenings and it took so many months to be even able to do that. I think my ankle is getting much closer to fully healed now, so I'm hoping to be able to start exercising "normally" within the next month.
