You're welcome! I had it years ago and did not keep it. It was extremely basic and I didn't really find it helpful.

I feel like a broken recod everytime I post this...but long long time ago, a vfer posted that she had trouble sleeping and tried a series of forward bends before bed, and found it helped her sleep. I tried it one night and went to bed annoyed cuz I still felt wide awake. Then the next thing I remember is waking up the next morning. Will post the original thread if I find it.

ETA: Here it is: Stretches with forward bends! They solved my insomnia problems! But, WHY?

A small trick which often works for me is to do a 180 and reverse myself putting my feet where my head was and head where my feet were. Sounds weird but often works!

It was the last tip in a circular I had received so here are the tips:

Warm your feet
suggests to wrap feet in warm washcloths

Bore yourself (no tv, no internet)
read a dull book or do a crossword puzzle but nothing stimulating

Clear your nose and throat
flush out nasal passages with a Netipot before bed
and use Breathe Rite strips

Don't eat

Make white noise (again no tv)

Play a mind and body trick
massage the big toes a minute or two

Make a Switch
reverse your head and feet positions

who tries to go to bed when I am naturally sleepy and if I don't, will have trouble falling asleep later

Thanks for the suggestions!
Never thought about it but yes I really do have to try to go to sleep when I'm naturally tired. If I miss that time,, seems like the boat left the dock and I missed it. Just I work at home in the evenings so that makes it more difficult to go to sleep at a good time for me.

The insomnia thread was: Stretches with forward bends! They solved my insomnia problems! But, WHY?. She mentions Zyoga and YfSR Insomnia sequence as helping her.

I like listening to Paul Cardall (piano music), it is very relaxing.
