Workout Sets/Systems You Wish You Never Purchased...

Just wondering, as a piggy back off of the other thread...

Did you cave on a system and then regret the purchase? If so, which one?

I purchased Slim Series and couldn't stand it. I hated the heavy breathing and the style of the exercises. So many VFers talked about how effective it was, and that is probably true, but I just couldn't bring myself to do the workouts. I should trade or sell the set. I've just been too lazy.

I liked some of the tips I picked up from Brazil Booty Lift, but only did the one month rotation and have never used it again. I did not see any results and could not stand the cardio DVD which I only did one time. I substituted other cardio workouts. I just did not click with this one and should get rid of it.

CLX. It was horrible. I hated it. I bought it on ebay and thought it might be a bootleg, so I couldn't even trade it and it just sat there, taunting me. I gave it away to a fellow VF'er who really, really wanted it but couldn't afford it. I was so happy to get rid of it!!!

Turbo Fire, and CLX-

Turbo Fire- Way too fast, and felt like I could have gotten the same workout flailing around my livingroom- plus most of the workouts seemed really similar, and I found Chalene really annoying in this. I liked Turbo Jam, so I thought I would like Turbo Fire- nope, sold it

CLX- I should have known after the Turbo Fire, but I found Chalene even worse in this series, and felt like you spent wayy too long bent over, I regularly lift with Cathe, and havent had issues and had the worst lower back pain with this workout - also sold it

Zumba Exhilirate way to fast for me and my knees just couldn't take it anymore. Also, TA Meta Omni, my wrists, knees and hips just ached. I could not do her cardio because of discs issues in my back but all those leg exercises just really irritated my bursitis in my right hip. Had to have a shot and that REALLY hurt! Sold TA after the shot and just finally traded the Zumba. At 55 I should know better. Live and learn again and again!

I actually loved it, but that was probably because I had nothing else to compare it to.

I actually bought the Turbo Jam set now that you guys are mentioning Chalene. I forgot all about it... probably because it's LONG gone. I found her annoying and affected and so ridiculously fake. I think I eventually SASE'd Turbo Jam I wanted to get rid of it so badly. You couldn't PAY me to buy another workout with Chalene.
