There's fat loss, and then there's body recomposition, which usually involves weight-training that builds muscle, not just tones it.

Didn't Rozy lose over 100 lbs? I bet she could give you good advice, because she looks awesome.

I agree with everybody else... you've done a great job on weight loss, so congrats!

I was going to suggest this too.

Congratulations!!! You're young so you have time on your side. Like others mentioned, we are our own worst critics.

Oh Hun, absolutely DO NOT look at the front of your thighs when in downward dog! There are too many other things you can concentrate on when in that position. It's a test of your concentration and focus.

Time is on your side.

When complimented, say a polite, "Thank you."

(((Daisy))) Despite being down, you still manage to put a Daisy spin on your posts, something that I have always admired. You are such a special person, Daisy. You are VF's sunshine.

I wish I had an answer for you, but only time will tell how your body is going to respond. Genetics will definitely play a huge part. Continue to enjoy your journey on a daily basis.

my abs are hopeless unfortunately (very very loose skin but had that in my 20s after having my son so its from pregnancy). My inner thighs and butt have excess skin after loosing the weight BUT have gotten better recently. I got so aggravated looking at my lower body in the mirror due to the excess skin I just have avoided it completely. But I looked this morning and noticed my inner thighs don't have the raisin'y baggy look anymore and are tightening up. My butt still has "some" excess skin but seems to be lifting up and seems less baggy.

I just wanted to say thank you to all of you guys. I really do appreciate all of you guys.

I am going through a heck of a lot this summer so my emotions are all out of wack. I really hope it wasn't coming out that I was vain or something - that wasn't my intention either It's just things that didn't bother me before, bother me now. (and vice versa). I'm just really struggling lately with becoming smaller. It's like I'm missing part of myself, and I don't know where she went. I think I just need some time to just redevelop Daisy again. (and let my personal life calm down for like one second).

But I am taking all of these down. I'm going to invest in a dry skin brush (not because to help my legs - but because of the beneficial properties) I do work my legs and try to moisturize as much as possible. Again. I appreciate it.

and. Yeah. I'm young.
(But only for one more week, then I'll be 1 year older )

[To Debbie S. Thanks very much. *HUGS*]
Mtnmom -I try. LOL but it's like. who are you talking about? it's not meeee.. lol

This is something I ABSOLUTELY agree with... and have learned the hard way! I am also forbidden to look at my abs when in plank position... (forget California Raisin...think bunched up parachute! )

Don't look at ANYTHING during plank! Raisins, parachutes.... Another good reason to keep the neck in good alignment in this position, LOL!
