? About Bar Method Beginner's Workout

Is The Bar Method's Beginner's Workout very easy or just short? I have Designer Sculpting & Fat Free & they are fairly easy for me. Is the Beginner's Workout along these lines? I'm thinking it might be great for days I'm short on time or for days when I'm sore from doing SS!

Thanks in advance for any info on this workout!

I'd say it's just short. I found it comparable to Change Your Body, but minus the pretzel segment (and a few other minor things). I thought the standing glute work was particularly well-cued and I had DOMS from it (when I hadn't had that same response with Burr & CYB).

I didn't think it was very easy either. I like the length, though the instructor seems a bit robotic to me. But it isn't easy. It's not killer like Dancer's Body, but not easy either.

I agree with the others, definitely not an easy one.

I agree - it's shorter but hard if you do it right. I like the instructor a lot! It's a favorite for me. I can add on the pretzel from other workouts.

It's one of my favorites. I can really focus on form, work just hard enough and I *love* that it's under 40 minutes!

Yes I love the time on this one. There is a real dread for me doing Dancer's Body not only because it is hard, but long as well...or at least it feels long to me!

Wondering...a couple of you say you wish there were a pretzel segment but isn't the second exercise at the barre a pretzel variation (standing, leg in attitude)? Which leads me to ask if you think one version of the pretzel is more effective than another? -- I'm thinking of the sitting, kneeling and standing versions of Callan.
