wow...I really love this instructor, Marnie Alton! What a breath of fresh air and she is so perky without being annoying
One thing that surprises me is the dumbells they are using. These look very masculine...Almost like mini barbells. I was expecting more of a Tracy Anderson 3lb weight. These look like they could be at least 5lb.
So far, I see weighted arm work, push ups, planks, stretching (including splits), barre work, and more. I am not sure what everyone wants to know in particular, so feel free to ask questions.
I feel like Marnie's cueing is good. Some of the music during the stretching parts is cheesy (think flutes). I LOVE Marnie's energy and her presence. Burr really did a great job choosing her to lead this workout. It looks like it would wipe you out, but Marnie does a good job keeping you motivated. I think I heard her say, "Push to your limits...Remember you are revving your metabolism not just for this hour, but for your entire day..."
I am very pleased with this workout (based on preview). Am about to look at Beginners Workout.
ETA: Entire workout clocks in at almost exactly 1 hour. In addition, Marnie used ballet terms, which she explains during the workout (plie, releve, attitude, 1st and 2nd postion, etc).
