I don't sweat much in day-to-day life, but I sweat up a storm when I work out. At home, I crank up the air conditioning to full blast, but it's still a sweatfest.

We don't have A/C in my boxing class, just two fans. When I first started, once my crotch got so saturated I thought I had wet myself! (Sorry if that's TMI)

I have sensitive skin, so BodyGlide is my saviour.

As others have said, I'm sure there's a genetic component to sweating.

I tend to not sweat very much, even during high intensity workouts. When I do sweat, majority is in my lower body with those lovely beads of sweat running down my butt crack. Lovely, right? I chalk up my low sweat factor due to the fact that I'm a desert girl, live in a very dry climate, and can withstand some pretty extreme heat temperatures (115, 120, etc...). Whenever I've visited more humid regions though, I sweat like s pig without doing much of anything. My youngest daughter runs hot all the time and sweats like a pig, but I'm always cold so I think that genetics and climate can both play a role.

I am not a heavy sweater, but I do work up a sweat doing most workouts. Today, I did YBB/The Ultimate Workout, and worked up a good sweat! Some times I am suprised at how much I sweat! I think I sweat more doing an interval workout, going from cardio to weights and back again. Today's workout, though not an interval workout in that way, it still has a lot of intensity built in it. Very effective for sweating

I sweat quite a lot - always need to keep a towel handy to dry off my face so my glasses don't slide down my nose when I do cardio.

Sweating performs an important cooling function. One of my friends from high school didn't sweat and it was a problem for her. When she went through ROTC training, they had to hose her down regularly so she wouldn't get overheated!

It doesn't matter what I do, I sweat with Ellen, Leslie, Tonique, anything. But, I don't usually drip sweat, although I do with Tonique and Bum Bum. Living in the south with high humidity makes things even worse in the summer, but I sweat all year long.

Do pigs sweat? Is this like saying chickens have lips?

Anyhoo, in the winter I tend to have trouble working up much of a sweat. Even once summer hits, I get wet during an intense workout but almost never drippy. To my surprise, bum bum from BBL gets me going more than most--I think it's the relatively fast series of lunges. Then again, I don't like to sweat, so maybe it's mind over matter to an extent.

Yeah, sweating is supposed to be one of the greatest things you can do for your body. On that note, I don't sweat anymore. I mean, I exercise with no fan, window closed, sun shining through, two pants, a couple of shirts, and a sweater, and I won't sweat. I once had an acupuncturist tell me that it is symptomatic of a suppressed immune system. It makes me mad. Sweating feels sooooo good!

Another huge sweater here! Not only do I end up dripping sweat with soaked hair, but my face turns bright red & stays that way for at least 30 minutes after working out. That's one of the reasons I could never be a fitness instructor, I think my students would look at me and wonder how I can be in shape with a face as red & sweaty as mine!

I also blush very easily so obviously that's related to the turning red during exercise too. I know I have read before that the amount you sweat is somewhat determined by genetics.

Me too and I used to get people asking me if I was all right all the time. I hated that - it's one of the reasons I prefer to workout at home. I don't need gym staff circling me like I might drop at any moment.

i would say i'm right in the middle of the sweat scale. i don't sweat too much or too little. i find my amount of sweat to be proportional to the temperature and intensity of the workout, and the more frequently i do intense workouts, the less i sweat the next time i workout. the only exception to that is higher humidity. when it's humid super callanetics makes me sweat.
