I kind of go the opposite route. I had a rod inserted into my femur through my knee, so occasionally it gets wonky. When it does, I go to heavy knee extensions. It always feels better the next day without fail, knock on wood.
Its great that you found what works for you.

I was surprised at how simple Yin poses worked so well for me.

Thank you for posting. Physical therapy was great for me, but I have to admit I've not been keeping up with the at home exercises. Most of the exercises are covered in some form or other in my regular workouts, so it seemed extra to do more strength and plyo work on top of my regular workouts. But yin yoga, I can dig that.

I've started wearing some great heavy duty sport knee braces and it really helped.
Stay well!
Its great to see you too Kate. Definitely need healthy knees for paddling.

I am happy that the knee braces are working for you. I know you like the advanced workouts and you need healthy knees for them.
