Can I get my DVDs onto my tablet?

I have several DVDs that I would like to back up and use on my tablet. I had tried it in the past but the audio lags way behind. Is there a solution? I'd like to take my workouts with me on vacation.

I just bought a couple of workouts to have on my tablet. I have more on my Fire than my iPad since there were more options.

I know that isn't your preference but another option if the first doesn't work.

Are you using a Mac? Handbrake is free and works nicely.

I opted to buy Aimersoft DVD Ripper (i think it's available for both Mac and PC) as I find it can convert DVDs that Handbrake cannot. I think you can download a trial version to test it out.

I convert to .mp4 and then import into iTunes and then transfer to an iPad. You can convert to other formats too, if you are using an Android. (though mp4 works nicely on Android too).

Hope this helps!

I have all of my DVDs on my tablet. I use WinX DVD Ripper which cost me about 35 euros a few years ago. I can play with the settings so that the files aren't too large.

Freemake is a free option, but I found that the files it created were so large that I couldn't fit many on my tablet, even with an extra SD card.
