Pretty much anything done on the ball with weights can be done either lying on a bench or the floor or sitting on a chair. The point of the ball is to add an element of instability, which forces you to engage your core more.
(Also, I think the ball is really more for the core section of PUB, right? I haven't done that workout in years, but some of her early workouts had the most excellent ball/core sections. Hmm. Maybe I need to revisit those. LOL)
