It was a prehistoric walking glider apparatus that I begged my mom to buy for me from Kmart in the late 80's. It was probably an early prototype for the Gazelle except your feet never leave the ground. You basically shuffled your feet back and forth on footpads that were attached to nylon straps. It also had handlebars that you moved back and forth.
I can't believe my mom actually bought it for me. We were so poor. She was a single mother and I doubt she was making more than minimum wage. I'm actually tearing up right now. My mom was incredible and I miss her.
