Anyone use hand grip trainers?

I saw these on QVC and thought back to the fight I had the other day with a bottle of A & W root beer and started wondering if anyone here uses them and finds them beneficial. (In my defense, the big guy I gave the root beer bottle to to open for me had a bit of a battle himself.)

I sometimes put on rubber gloves so my hands don't slip.

I used to have a round, ribbed flat rubber disc that gave me a good grip but it eventually ripped. So I just ordered, from Amazon, a Dycem cone shaped bottle opener.

I have a pull up bar so my hands are pretty strong.

I use putty with resistance and silicone eggs with resistance. I got them at PT after wrist and thumb surgeries. I bought some at Amazon with more resistance. I also use things that look like clothespins for individual finger strength.

I do a 1:11min hang daily for my shoulders but it also works on grip strength.
