Donna, what kinds of problems did your mother and grandmother have? Did they experience chronic pain, fractures, or both?

A lot of what I've read so far is consistent with what Beth (ealakey) shared. There definitely seems to be a lot of variation from person to person, and so treatment is clearly not one size fits all. One example in my case is that my gynecologist encouraged calcium supplements, but then I met with my urologist, and she and I decided it would be best for me NOT to do calcium right now given my kidney stone history. (I'll discuss this further when I met with GYN in person next month.)
