Oh, that's good to hear! I've had that DVD for a long time but have never tried it. I'm more inclined to pull it out now, thanks!

You don't have to be fast, just keep moving forward.
Note to self: You don't get to complain about things you won't work to change!

I hope to try a few of the things posted here, I always need posture work!

Just came across this from Jill Miller. I haven't looked at any of them yet:

It's almost June but I thought this was worth posting. Sara Meeks is featured in a new Bob & Brad video, Osteoporosis: Standing Posture Made Simple. It's an 18 minute video that I have to re-watch it was so good. It includes very straightforward, but *so* do-able, ideas that had me standing taller at 5:00 am

Thanks, Mimi! The imagery exercises are very helpful.

This 10-day posture fix challenge was in my YouTube notifications. I only took a peek at day 1 but thought I would share it here.

I don't think it was mentioned in this thread, but pilates workouts are very much about posture alignment, along with so many other benefits (core engagement, breathing, alleviating back pain, etc.) Just doing a short basic beginner (fundamentals) video can be very helpful. Moira Stott has a backcare series and one of the vides is called "standing tall." Mari Winsor has a pilates video to address back issues. There are so many others that are very therapeutic and you feel great afterwards!

Vannie - Thanks for the link!

LOL, Pam, I hate Pilates. It's a great exercise system, but it is like watching paint dry.

I remembered that you did, and you used that same expression in other threads, haha! I know it's not for everyone, but maybe another VFer could be helped by the slower pace of the PT type exercises.

I have some workouts where they sneak in a few Pilates moves. I don't mind that.

(Err, Essentrics is another fab system that I don't like. What can I say?)
