Stacey, there are several free toning workouts on his YT Channel which I what got me hooked. They will show you his style.
I think Bodymatics (abs & arms) is harder. It has floor abs, standing abs/waist, arms (standing, planks and seated tricep dips), leg/glutes are combined (barre & side series) whereas in Blitzmatics they are separate. The atmosphere is totally different between the two. Bodymatics was filmed at Rambert Studios and it's rather dark. Blitzmatics is light and bright with a student joining Hamelin. |

This morning I received Step workout and I just finished downloading and previewing it. It looks GREAT!!! The music is just fantastic! I'm SO happy I purchased it at pre-order prices, but I would buy it at full price in a heartbeat.
Rebounding workout will be mailed first part of January due to some quality issues. I can't wait see it. I hope the music will be as good as in Step workout.

To compare, here's a live class that is all classic toning https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y0FNlu5o1_w and this is a DMW class https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7s2eK-tGirI. Also, you have the circuit-based classes that are either cardiotone/hi-lo + toning or stations where you do a couple of cardio moves mixed with toning with props: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_kIsGMt3m2o // https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gaXCg7ySMHw

I love blitzmatics, just did it after core de force, love the arm and thigh sections the most. I remember pre ordering it and then just remembering i had it!

The thigh segment is my favorite too. I don't have time to do Cardio and ALL of Blitzmatics for the bootcamp so I'll do just thighs and arms those days. I can't wait to see what else he comes out with in the future.
For anyone on the fence about DMW.. the new series is awesome! |
