amy does this in kettlebell dynamics (i just bought that one during mary's sale and have previewed that one but haven't done it yet, either!) and i have no intentions of doing those kinds of pushups either! that's an accident waiting to happen!!!!!

Let us know how you like those cliff scaler things right into swings. At least that's how I thing it goes but I may have lost consciousness during that part .

The other thing I like about Kettlebell Sculpted Body is I think Bob does pretty close to the same number of reps on both sides, unlike Kettlebell Cardio Shred where he misses the overhead presses and windmills completely on the left side.

So mb45 both essentials and advanced are more cardio based than heavy weight?

E.T.A. - okay it seems he has two workouts out and both look like they are a heavier KB workout.

Keith Weber moves pretty fast so I end up going lighter on his workouts (8-12 kg) than I do on Lauren's or the MB45 DVDs (12-20 kgs). The second one (Extreme 2 kettlebell cardio workout) moves faster than the first one (Extreme kettlebell cardio workout). Both have short kettlebell flow sequences that you can combine or do singly as an add-on to other workouts - some have an upper body emphasis, some lower, some core. They are described as and are cardio workouts. There's some counting missteps in Extreme 2, so if that bothers you, avoid it (left =/= right side).

I don't have any Paul Katami, Amy Bento, or Jillian/Bob to compare.

I consider MB45 strength combined with cardio intervals, not pure cardio.

I don't have advanced, but I thought MB45 Essentials would be really good as more cardio-based workouts with a lighter bell. You switch up the moves so much and move pretty fast.

I find most of the kb exercises are cardio intensive, meaning depending on the weight of the bell you are using. Try doing 300+ swings or 30 minutes of snatches and tell me that you are not getting a cardio workout!!! The way the exercises are geared is that it gives a strength bonus imo. These other exercises like Katami and I like his routine, does not utilize the bell in solid combos. The bell is used for added weight on many of his combos to make your heart rate go up, like holding the bell in a rack position and doing squats, you will sweat in no time.

advanced is in the same format... you switch up and move between the excercises... mostly 30 sec rests... a few 1 minute ones thrown in...

i burn quite a few calories doing advanced (and essentials)
