We have all the Under the Covers cds. We would have seen Matthew and Susanna's one tour, but our son was playing baseball at the time and we missed many concerts then.

Did you see the documentary about The Jam that was on Showtime a few years ago?

XTC is another group I like but I don't know all their music.
Sherry, I did catch a documentary a while ago but not sure if this was the same one. I think it was more about Paul Weller because it went through the whole history including Style Council. Apparently the actor, Martin Freeman is a big fan!

I also like XTC.

But who should I see before the Sea & Cake show walking around but Andrew Bird himself. He was there alone, just walking around whistling and sat a row behind us. I was too intimidated to say anything to him. He was there to support his fellow Chicago musicians.

Oh, and the Style Council's song [I]My Ever Changing Moods[I] is one of my favorite songs of all time!
If you are a fan of Fargo, Andrew Bird had a part in the last season. He played the undertaker. I hope he does more acting but not to the point where he neglects his music.

I love all types of music, except for maybe jazz and american rap. I go through phases of liking & listening to certain genres...classic rock, 80s, alternative, hair bands. Then adult contemporary, Motown, disco, classical, country, now it's Kpop.

Some of my all time faves would be:

Mozart
Metallica
Earth, Wind, & Fire
Dierks Bentley
Celine Dion
Florida Georgia Line
Prince
Fleetwood Mac
Taemin
Seventeen

I like all kinds of music, but my all-time favorite singer/songwriter/musician is Aimee Mann. I cycle through her albums, listening to each one for several weeks at a time before moving on to another one, eventually circling back around.

I don't know Aimee Mann's music well at all but her song "That's How I Knew This Story Would Break My Heart" is one of my all time favorite songs.

Yes, that is such a beautiful song! The Forgotten Arm is a great album.
