Today I did the Upper Body Premix (46 minutes) from Total Body. I really enjoyed the workout and the use of the different colored bands! Cathe was terrific (as always) and the set was happy and bright. Music was also upbeat and lots of fun!

I liked the longer warmup, and the way the bands were utilized. Some of the tougher segments for me were the bicep exercises using double bands (blue/green.) I also felt the blue (heaviest) band was challenging for these exercises, because it was more difficult to stretch to the full range/top of the exercise.

It surprised me that the Upper Body Premix was 46 minutes long, but there is a lot of variety here. If I really want to shorten the workout, I can just pick certain Upper Body chapters from the menu when I'm pressed for time.

I would also say this is a solid intermediate workout, but I can see making this more advanced by doubling up on the bands or using the next heavier resistance as you get stronger.

I love that it's a different Cathe workout than so many that I have used in the past!

I can see using these bands/loops with some of my Linda Wooldridge workouts, too! Also, with Cathe's Travel Fit, which is a favorite!

I think it was a good use of the bands throughout the workout, but the blue band felt a bit short for me in couple of the moves. Anyone knows how tall is Cathe? Great workout though and I'm looking forward to trying Glutes and Core DVD.
I believe Cathe is 5'2".

Thanks! She's about 5" shorter than I am so that may explain why I can't pull up my blue band quite as high as Cathe can.

Today I did Cathe's Boss Loops Glutes and Core (No Floorwork or Glutes Premix) 35 minutes.

I enjoyed the all standing routine and it just made me want more of the same. A nice mix of lunges and squats mixed with some fun cardio to get the heartrate up. The core work was short and sweet, too and the lightest (orange) band is used here! No band is used for the stretch at the very end.

I will say the music wasn't as pumping as it was in the Boss Bands Total Body DVD, unless there's something jiving in the Floorwork or Glute section, that wasn't on the premix I did today!

I am going to enjoy adding these to whatever else I may be doing. I'm glad I purchased the workouts with the bands, too! Looking forward to seeing what's in store on the other premixes!
