Thanks for the clips on the kb swings. I think I might be able to do them correctly!

As for the new Kelly dvds, I really am interested in both, but I'm not sure if I can afford it right now. I have to look at my finances tomorrow. I might just get the one with the bonus step workout, but then again, I need to work on my flexibility, & I love abs workouts, so maybe that workout will keep me interested in some extra stretching that I seriously need. Decisions, decisions.

I can't see any difference in how Kelly does it and how it looks in these "how to" clips.

If you've never swung a kettlebell - grab a kettlebell or dumb bell (you can do this with either)- 15/20 pounds - and swing it as directed by AOS. You'll hinge forward, drop the bell between your legs, arms straight and relaxed - be aware not to use your arms other than to hold the bell - then hip thrust it up. You literally hinge at the hip then drive the hip forward. You'll see that with a good solid hip thrust the bell will come to mid chest max. If you experiment a bit you'll be able to feel when the thrust ends and the arms take over. Kelly come up above the shoulders. That's arms, not hips.

Thanks for the links and comments, everyone! I'm also no KB expert and have only one bell that is 15 pounds. It may be too light for me to use for swings, so it is interesting to know that my form could suffer using too light a KB.
