Kittybug I hope your foot is feeling better! "Sack of hammers" made me chuckle, but I know the pain of feeling like a sack of hammers is beating your foot. UGH! Durn injuries!

Kim I liked KCM B&P 5 as well. Why didn't you think you would like it? Curious...

KateTT HOORAY on Justin's labs and results! I know you are all so happy! And we are too! Glad you're feeling the barre workouts. They get in there good!

Cataddict I'm so sorry to hear about the drama with Krabby. He is definitely in the right home, with the right cat parents. Hope things go better for all of you. BTW, I'm glad to see that you did Chris's #266 because I did it Tuesday and LOVED it! I was going to tell you it is a must-do! Sorry you've had such a hard time posting. Hoping the dreaded error message fixes itself soon and you're back to posting as normal. Durn technology! I was curious about Chris's Wheel of Cardio, so glad to know it's good and worth doing. Might schedule it for next week.

ChelePA sorry to hear your hubby is still struggling. One of my coworkers/friends had surgery on her back in Dec. and the co-leader for my Bible study had an injection Monday. So many people have back issues, and when your back hurts, everything hurts. Hoping for relief soon.

Hugs and waves all!

Workouts:

Tuesday - CCountdown Levels 2&1 + The Best Step Aerobics Workout Ever Intermediate - Advanced Cardio Step #266 (FUN, FUN, FUN! Did finished combo 2-3 more times I enjoyed it so much!) + Stretching After Step Class Step Aerobics Cool Down Routine

Wednesday - CCountdown 2&1 + Cathe Perfect Pump Timesaver Premix Total Body Express (mostly UB)

Thursday - Turbo Fire Fire 55 EZ (FUN! Great music; Charlene not annoying - maybe because I'm used to Chris - HA!; why don't I do these more?!?) + Stretch 10 Class (really liked)

Friday - CCountdown 2&1 (my goal is to do CC 2&1 15 times and I'm almost there! This was #11. Then I'll move on to either CC Level 3 or Pure) + LBrooks KBell Lightning (metabolic; fast pace & transitions)

Saturday - CL #254 Give Me More Legs And Core (LOVED! Uses weights, gliders, floor work; nice variety of moves) + 5 Parks Flow & Stretch Yoga Class (BEAUTIFUL scenery; nice, slow practice; alternates flow with stretches throughout practice)

Phew! Maybe the 500 error has resolved itself! Keeping my fingers crossed!

Thanks for the kind words about Krabby. It is a mystery to us given his current temperament how he was exposed, but things happen in the wild. He's clearly happy to be back on our deck. We are grateful that he doesn't have leukemia as the prognosis could be worse over a shorter period of time. Still, we have been constantly watching him and he is behaving and eating normally for him. Only time will tell how he does in the long run, but for now he has a great relationship with the other deck cats and I don't see why that part would change. With luck he won't develop a full blown case of the disease at all.

Chele, I definitely get that Chris Dorner's talking could be annoying. She does a bit less during the workout itself after the shoutouts in the warmup, but not always. The more complicated the routine, the less she talks since the cuing is so important, and she also tends to be less chatty with the virtual participants when she doesn't have a guest with her. I think I've also become sort of immune to the talking lol. For me, the first time a Peloton instructor said something like "let's get it, peloton" like I've seen on the commercial, I would immediately dump the workout.

Chele, so sorry your DH is still being bothered by back issues! I'm sure I asked you before, but has he had an MRI to have it checked out? I hope he gets to see a specialist to figure out what is going on.

FN1/SHW, you underestimate your artistic talent--your avatar is so darn cute!!! Oh, and you are correct as to how cats get FiV which is what puzzles us since Krabby isn't at all aggressive and we just got him fixed and he wasn't aggressive as an intact male. There is a combo test that incorporates both FiV and feline leukemia that is what they do in my area at least. We are hoping to find a vet that is more "feral friendly." We so miss the vet who was Watula's doc and acupuncturist but she is 2 hours away now and that's kind of far to drive for a check up. Oh, and I hope your foot gets better soon!

Kate, good news about Justin! And you can keep the snow!

bee, glad you checked in and good for you for doing some kind of workout in the absence of power! I'm cheering for the 49ers of the teams who are left. Sorry, Eagles fans. The Eagles would be my second choice. I like the 49ers quarterback.

Ugh, I know I have forgotten some of the comments I wanted to make! Waves and hugs to all!

Manley what is CCountdown? Those workouts sound interesting. The reason I didn’t think I would like KCM box and pump is because I prefer the more polished, professionally produced workouts. Also I was just meh on the other Raw workouts that were bonuses on Kelly’s other DVDs. So I was pleasantly surprised.

Today I did Cathe’s Ripped with Hiit, Low Impact Hiit. I haven’t done a Cathe workout in a while and I keep seeing her deal of the day posts on Facebook reminding me of all the good workouts she has. I also added a bonus abs section at the end.

Kim… I had the same question although I probably can’t do advanced, but they sounded fun!

Cataddict…yes to the MRI. Nothing stood out as serious enough to cause major issues or need for surgery. We’ll see what the new doc says.

Hello All! Great news from Kate -- I know you've got to be so relieved to know that. Wonderful! But stay warm with that dip in temperatures!! We are apparently going to have a dip, too, but our dip is what you call "mild" (20's). People here are worried about their pipes freezing because we don't often see it that low.

cataddict, I'm so glad to see you posting -- was really starting to worry about you. I'm so sorry to hear about Krabby -- he sounds like such a sweet soul and it flabbergasts me that the vets would immediately go there when he's not actually sick. As everyone said, he's in the right place and you guys are doing the right thing -- even though it is a roller coaster and may continue to be. Sorry you had such trouble posting, but man you have been doing the workouts! And yes, it's been fun to see Brock Purdy's career take off!!

Chele, sorry to hear hubby's back is still a bad issue. I hope he can figure out some relief! 4DS sounds like a great plan for Feb. -- I like the shorter weight workouts!

manleym & Kim, that KCM workout sounds great. Looks like you two have been doing some great workouts, though I must say.... I'm with cataddict on not having to learn a routine before doing the workout.

kittybug, how's that foot? Funny about not opening jars with it! Did anyone else sort of cringe watching Cathe do shoulder work in the latest clip?

I didn't have much chance for workouts this week with my work schedule, but did manage the Step PHA (can't remember if that's 3 or 4) and today I was with Chele doing Power Pump lower. What a solid workout that is.

We've had another covid scare here. My son spent a bunch of time with our friend on Thursday -- helping him build a pizza oven. On Friday, I spent a bunch of time with my son. Last night we found out the friend has covid -- he was "fine" Thursday and it hit him like a ton of bricks yesterday. So we're in the wait and see period -- being really cautious and cancelling plans. No fun, but I guess that's the world we live in now. Kate, if you're still reading along, how are all the family members with covid? Hope they're well on the road to recovery by now.

Waves to lavna, horusosiris, Linda, and vintage!

Bee… hoping you all stay Covid free. Not sure what my husband has since he has tested negative but his cough has persisted for many weeks. The person who was the start of it all unfortunately ended up in the hospital. With HIPAA, my husband is not sure what the diagnosis is but definitely not your average illness.

I haven’t been on the bike in many days so I chose two shorter cycling classes. One was low impact and the other was pop music with a live audience. Lots of fun!

Taking my mom to see the Elvis movie later. I’m sure many of you will be watching football. Enjoy!

Ah, yes, I watched football for a while, but we turned it off when it was pretty clear it wasn't going our way. Sigh.....

Chele, I read an article recently that said the home tests are not very accurate. Wondering if when your husband was in the thick of things did he get a PCR test? I think the article was hinting at the mutations in the virus may be why the home tests don't seem as effective anymore. But big caveat here -- I have no idea if science actually backs up any of this!

How'd you like Elvis?

I did IMAX 2 today -- so much fun, and just flies!

Bee… my husband only did the home test since he was in Mexico when the symptoms first started. It was probably two weeks later I had him test at home when he returned. They are definitely not 100% accurate.

Love Imax 2-My favorite of that series!

My mom and I enjoyed the Elvis movie. Really didn’t know much about him since my mom is really the fan. Learning about his beginnings, and how his style of music developed was fascinating to me. Plus how controversial he was in those days. Also didn’t know how much Colonel Tom Parker took such advantage of him. It was really sad and eye-opening.

I felt so bad for the 49ers and the quarterback situation. Didn’t watch the game. Just saw it on the news. I think I’ll be cheering on the Chiefs over the Eagles despite living in Pennsylvania. Ha ha.

Mix and match today. Perfect 30 low impact HIIT warm-up then the pyramid and extended stretch bonuses. Followed by Peloton core, floor barre and legs/glutes.

Headed out this morning with my daughter. She asked to get her nails done together.

Have a great Monday!
