Hello All! Great news from Kate -- I know you've got to be so relieved to know that. Wonderful! But stay warm with that dip in temperatures!! We are apparently going to have a dip, too, but our dip is what you call "mild" (20's). People here are worried about their pipes freezing because we don't often see it that low.
cataddict, I'm so glad to see you posting -- was really starting to worry about you. I'm so sorry to hear about Krabby -- he sounds like such a sweet soul and it flabbergasts me that the vets would immediately go there when he's not actually sick. As everyone said, he's in the right place and you guys are doing the right thing -- even though it is a roller coaster and may continue to be. Sorry you had such trouble posting, but man you have been doing the workouts! And yes, it's been fun to see Brock Purdy's career take off!! Chele, sorry to hear hubby's back is still a bad issue. I hope he can figure out some relief! 4DS sounds like a great plan for Feb. -- I like the shorter weight workouts! manleym & Kim, that KCM workout sounds great. Looks like you two have been doing some great workouts, though I must say.... I'm with cataddict on not having to learn a routine before doing the workout. kittybug, how's that foot? Funny about not opening jars with it! Did anyone else sort of cringe watching Cathe do shoulder work in the latest clip? I didn't have much chance for workouts this week with my work schedule, but did manage the Step PHA (can't remember if that's 3 or 4) and today I was with Chele doing Power Pump lower. What a solid workout that is. We've had another covid scare here. My son spent a bunch of time with our friend on Thursday -- helping him build a pizza oven. On Friday, I spent a bunch of time with my son. Last night we found out the friend has covid -- he was "fine" Thursday and it hit him like a ton of bricks yesterday. So we're in the wait and see period -- being really cautious and cancelling plans. No fun, but I guess that's the world we live in now. Kate, if you're still reading along, how are all the family members with covid? Hope they're well on the road to recovery by now. Waves to lavna, horusosiris, Linda, and vintage!

Bee… hoping you all stay Covid free. Not sure what my husband has since he has tested negative but his cough has persisted for many weeks. The person who was the start of it all unfortunately ended up in the hospital. With HIPAA, my husband is not sure what the diagnosis is but definitely not your average illness.
I haven’t been on the bike in many days so I chose two shorter cycling classes. One was low impact and the other was pop music with a live audience. Lots of fun! Taking my mom to see the Elvis movie later. I’m sure many of you will be watching football. Enjoy! |

Ah, yes, I watched football for a while, but we turned it off when it was pretty clear it wasn't going our way. Sigh.....
Chele, I read an article recently that said the home tests are not very accurate. Wondering if when your husband was in the thick of things did he get a PCR test? I think the article was hinting at the mutations in the virus may be why the home tests don't seem as effective anymore. But big caveat here -- I have no idea if science actually backs up any of this! How'd you like Elvis? I did IMAX 2 today -- so much fun, and just flies!

Bee… my husband only did the home test since he was in Mexico when the symptoms first started. It was probably two weeks later I had him test at home when he returned. They are definitely not 100% accurate.
Love Imax 2-My favorite of that series! My mom and I enjoyed the Elvis movie. Really didn’t know much about him since my mom is really the fan. Learning about his beginnings, and how his style of music developed was fascinating to me. Plus how controversial he was in those days. Also didn’t know how much Colonel Tom Parker took such advantage of him. It was really sad and eye-opening. I felt so bad for the 49ers and the quarterback situation. Didn’t watch the game. Just saw it on the news. I think I’ll be cheering on the Chiefs over the Eagles despite living in Pennsylvania. Ha ha. Mix and match today. Perfect 30 low impact HIIT warm-up then the pyramid and extended stretch bonuses. Followed by Peloton core, floor barre and legs/glutes. Headed out this morning with my daughter. She asked to get her nails done together. Have a great Monday! |
