Thumbs up Enjoying Caroline Girvan's Programs so much!!!

Hi to all!!
I recently discovered and completed Caroline's Iron Series, and moved on to her Tempo Week right after.

I'm currently doing her Fuel Series and loving it! Her programs are time efficient and very well organized.

I feel very strong and am pleasantly surprised by how heavy I can go using her programs. Since they are short I have more time for yoga and mobility which I need to be super consistent with to feel good.

The best thing is that they are free!!

YMMV 😀

She's fantastic. I've been doing her workouts since 2020 and never went back to DVDs (I do miss Beast, though).

I love her Iron Series! I just started round 3 this week. I’m hoping Cathe’s STS 2.0 will be out in the next couple of months so I can start that next!

I also like that the Iron workouts are about 35 minutes long because I can add an iFit treadmill workout every day. I really need to work on stretching and mobility though. Hopefully STS 2.0 will encourage me to add more.

I’m thinking about starting Iron Series next week. Seriously think I’ll start with lifting the same number of pounds as she does in kg . I also have STS 2.0 coming… whenever it comes

Me too! I keep hoping Caroline is going to make an announcement for a new program in the New Year. Or offer an app (if that’s what she’s going to do). I’m willing to pay for her workouts.

Lol! And thanks for the encouragement! I just did workout 2 ( upper) as a sort of preview, and had to decrease some of those weights. I’m recovering from a cold and haven’t lifted for a week or more, but still- Caroline is strong!! I liked the workout a lot, and the 1-minute sets are an interesting change for me. I’ll start the rotation next week.

She's got a lot out there. How should one start her workouts, starting from least to most challenging? I'm guessing Beginner Epic, followed by the other Epics? Where to after that?

Beginner EPIC is definitely the easiest, although not beginner by any means. They’re upper intermediate or intermediate if you know how to modify.

I haven’t done a lot of the shorter series but I’d say in terms of increasing intensity I’d rank them this way
Iron
Kickass Kettlebells
Epic 1
Epic 2
Fuel
