*Functionally Fit Peak Fat Burning is a true interval workout that is cardio-based without any weights.
**Functionally Fit Lower Body Firming is another excellent workout, very underrated, and consists of standing moves. you will feel the DOMS from this one. this is more of a "functional fitness" style workout than the cardio one. lots of one-legged balance moves too.
both were released at the same time and filmed in the same pleasant "living room" setting.
*included on her Super Slimdown Circuit compilation
**included on her "Yoga Sculpt" compilation. FFLBF is NOT a yoga workout, so it may throw you off that they grouped it with this DVD compilation.
all of the above being said, the FFLBF is a very good functional fitness type workout.
other suggestions:
Kathy Smith Matrix Ultimate Sculpt: this one has you moving in diagonal planes in a functional manner (standing) that mimics moves in your everyday tasks. There's a lot of balance and body awareness moves.
Denise Beatty: her FitnessFix series are functional fitness style workouts and she includes balance moves throughout
Tracie Long: start with her TLT series. There's 4 DVDs and former Firm trainers teach 2 of the DVDs (Jenn Carman, Susan Harris).
