ummm...sort of off topic, but this reminds me of a couple of months ago when I stopped into Barney's cosmetics counter and DH was with me. The SA greeted me by my first name and DH raised an eyebrow. When I asked to place something on hold for an upcoming sale and the SA was writing my ticket, he confirmed my last name by saying, "It's xxxx, right?" You should have seen the look on hubby's face!
As we were leaving, DH had me by the elbow and said in a low voice in my ear, "I'm really worried that the SA knows your FIRST and LAST name...How often do you come here?!?!"
