Don't you wish you knew some celebrities EXACT workout regimen?

I LOVE the movie Blue Crush with Kate Bosworth.

She has the exact body shape/look that I wish I had.

I read she worked out pretty hard to get into shape to play a surfer. But, what exactly did she do??

It would be very motivating if you knew-"OK, this is what I have to do to look like this."

And I must admit, Jessica Simpson looks killer as Daisy Duke. What was her regimen?

I need to know these things. Otherwise, I feel like I'm spinning my wheels.

I'm vain, I want to work out to look good more than I want to feel good.

I'm super short (4'11") and I'm afraid of doing certain workouts that may make me thicker in my legs. I'm terrified of working really hard, just to achieve the wrong results.

Am I making sense??

I found this online. Don't know if it's accurate or not, but it does give a somewhat detailed description.

Well, I also like Jennifer's physique and you can check out Shape's old article (2003) for her arm workout from trainer Valerie Waters to get in shape for Alias.

Great info Holly! Now that is detailed

Here's more fitness trivia about Jennifer and I'm quoting US Magazine:

"Jennifer eats healthy all year round but for Elektra, even those little cheats - an occasional glass of wine or a little bit of dessert - she said, 'I just won't have them,' Garner's trainer of four years Waters tells US.

"Garner worked out six days a week with Waters. Her routine included strength training, running, squats, lunges and crunches on the stability ball."

Now, does anybody know how Jessica Simpson got in great shape. I mean, yes, she was already slim before but now she has some muscles

In Fitness Magazine, I read that Garner also has her own home gym. She wakes up at 4:30am and starts working out.

To look like X, Y or Z, you don't only need their workout regimen, but their nutrition plan and their exact genetic makeup!

I think stars change their workout routines quite a bit, or at least change who they work with.

Like Kathryn says, there is a lot more to the stars looks than just working out.

They hire personal trainers to whip them into shape. They hire personal chefs to prepare their meals. They spend hours at the gym. They have dermatologists and plastic surgeons to perform body enhancing and correcting procedures. (And we can't discuss diets, diuretics, hormone alteration and supplements here, but you better believe that they are a big part of the picture.)

They can write all these expenses off on their taxes. (Wish WE could!)

In films, these women have the benefit of expert make-up, lighting and clothing design. Plus the removal of any defects digitally in post production editing.

And let us not forget professional body doubles used by Julia Roberts and many other celebrities.

Also, the "foundation garment" (aka girdles like "Spanx" ) have made a big comeback in celebrity circles.

There is much more work and expense involved that we can imagine!
