Yes, thats another way and you only need a TV that has an HDMI input, it doesn't have to be a "smart" TV.

Good to know. My kids set me up...I'm really bad with tech!

This is what I do. I have a lightning to HDMI adapter and an HDMI cable so I can connect my iPhone to my tv. It works better than my apple tv actually. Less communication issues.

Thanks -- I was hoping it was a little more seamless (that is, less hardware required). Maybe someday......

Bee, I know it sounds like a lot of moving parts to contend with, but it really is easier than it sounds. I'm not a techie at all but connecting from your phone to your TV via an HDMI cable works really well, and I agree with everyone here that it's worthwhile to check out their streaming site. I love the new workouts and hardly ever revisit my dvds because the new content is so fantastic, but the DVD workouts are there as well as the different seasons. For the price it can't be beat. I've grown to really love Essentrics/CS after years of being so so about it, and I credit the new workouts and trainers for my change of heart.

So glad to hear this. I agree, the new workouts and instructors are excellent. Game changers, really. I find I'm not reaching for my dvds much any more.

All you need is an HDMI cable and an apple converter. (If you have an iPhone). It is super easy and I stream everything through the tv.

What type of converter do you need if you have MotoG5 phone?

I’m not sure. Do either of these links work?

Thank you Sue. My sister in law and my niece stayed at my mother in law's house that does not have internet but they were able to connect to wifi through her cell phone and use lighting to connect her ipad to the tv and watch Netflix. I am wondering if I could do something similar with my phone.

From what I read in the links you shared I would need to use Chromecast.

I am very far behind in technical issues.
