I've been doing 30-45 minutes lately and they are often piecemeal--2 or 3 short Jessica Smith "miles" or a 30-minute strength workout plus a 10-15 cardio. I don't usually go longer than 45 minutes because I almost always add on PT and/or core work PLUS stretching. The whole thing usually takes me over an hour, but I'm retired. I don't need to rush through workouts any more.

I prefer workouts that are about 30 to 40 minutes in length. I often string together a few shorter workouts. It seems to make the time go faster. The fitness class that I teach is 60 minutes and I find that being up front makes the time fly by.

Never less than 30 minutes, rarely more than 90 minutes. It just depends on how I feel.

Yesterday was a quick 30 on the elliptical because I had to go out of town, today was a 5 mile Leslie walk because I have no plans.

I like to workout in the morning and an hour is my preference. I am now back in the office a couple of days a week so i nixed working out in the morning.

Now I am contemplating a 30 minute workout on my in-office days. I had an all or nothing mentality and this discussion has me thinking differently.

Thanks to all.
