Hi Alta - no, I haven't. i reached out to the VFer who brought it to my attention and also gave her a link to this thread.

i think there was a thread on General about the backlog of new members requesting to join. i'll bump that thread up.*

EDITED TO ADD:
*i think the thread was deleted.

Title of the thread shows up on Google called "New members not being able to join VF" and my security/virus software blocks the thread from being opened.

maybe someone on Facebook who is friends with Wendy could mention it?

looks like the last person who joined VF was on 2/16/2022 (look in Community list and sort by Join Date).

I wonder how many other pending requests since February 2022 are waiting to be approved?

That's so weird that prior thread won't open for me either for the same reason. I have never had that happen

I opened the old "New members not being able to join VF thread" via a google search. My browser said it was "unsafe," but it sometimes randomly does that for some VF threads and I always just "proceed" despite the internet browser's protestations to go back to "safety" since it's VF.

Anyways, I tagged the old thread so it comes up now if you use the tags I added to this thread. This link should also work: http://forum.videofitness.com/showthread.php?t=226651

i went to VF Roost yesterday to see whether there's a thread about members wanting to join VF. Is there a discussion thread about this there, or is the discussion part of "general" thread on VF Roost?

either way, could someone send me a PM on VF with a link to the FB thread? i'd rather keep that thread private rather than post the link here. thanks.

I'm only (rarely) on the tapatalk VF Roost (not on FB at all) and on the tapatalk VF Roost, someone posted to the new member roster thread that they had been trying to register on VF but were still pending.
