DCW yay, daughter!!

When I was a kid, I used to clean out my mom's purse. At first, I'd leave piles on the table for her to check. It didn't take long before she gave me carte blanche.

Thanks Eventmom! Having every item accepted by ThredUp was definitely motivational for me to figure out other things that might qualify. I do hope at least one or two of my higher ticket items will sell. Thanks for all the tips! Unlikely that I would've tried it otherwise.

Congratulations to everyone making progress!!

It's a journey and all of you make me feel good.

Some days I am slow and others I forge ahead making more space for me.

Thank you, my friends.

Though I don't think I have much stuff and I am fairly consistent with going through my stuff I have decided to dedicate the next 3 weekends to get more stuff to Goodwill. My car is currently loaded up. I took a chair to my PT library job. Sunday I plan to do my fall/winter-spring summer swap. I am late this year but we had 30 degree weather last week and now it's in the 90's. I have made it a goal not to buy any spring summer clothes. I am sure I have plenty.

I did buy this pretty cool antique coat rack from the local antique shop and moved it around today to find the right spot for it. But told myself something has to go. I will get rid of a floor lamp and if my son doesn't want it, will add it to the Goodwill pile.

Everyone is doing so good with your progress. Baby steps are still steps in the right direction. So keep it up.

DCW it is encouraging having folks to cheer you on.

VVFer and Izzy baby steps or little by little all help.

My daughter and I took one bag to goodwill and three bags to a consignment shop. That's enough for this week as far as I'm concerned. I am very proud of her progress.

Today is the US Postal Service Stamp Out Hunger campaign. I am checking my pantry for items that I over bought or really dont need in the house, e.g. cake mix and icing plus other treats.

Easy way to food declutter.
